I'm Back! :-)

Hello viewers! The reason I haven't posted for so long is that my Nook didn't support Blogger, but now that I got new software for Christmas, I have the Blogger app and I'm back to posting! I now have my own G-Mail and would like to move my blog under that account. Unfortunately, I don't know how. If anyone discovers a way, explain in a comment below or email me at:

Privacy Issues

To avoid plagerism, I have removed the introductory draft of my book, The Wizzaments. I have one other reason for taking it off, too. I have received feedback that my book does not need an introduction, and that the book would do just fine on its own. Fortunately for some of you, I will be writing and progressively saving my book onto my computer. However, none of the book will be posted.

A Precious Time

Sorry for my recent lack of posting. As some of you may know, this is my last summer weekend. I have been trying to make the best of these last few days of a precious time. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited for the school year, but there are a lot of things I'm not excited for. I encourage all of my viewers to prepare for the school year, whether you are a teacher, parent, or student. By the way, my phone has been activated. This happened like a week a go. Sorry for the late notice.

Something of Consequence

I haven't been posting for the past few days due to low impotance. But I finally have something of consequence to write about! Today I got my first cell phone! Ever since I was 7 years old, I dreamed of having a Samsung Alias cell phone. one time I even made a paper model! Now my dream has come true, and I have pictures to prove it:

The phone is currently being activated. I'll tell you once it's done.

New Poll 7/29/2012

Sorry for the wait; I was outside enjoying the rare, beatiful side of summer in Phoenix. Most folks call it "rain." Anyways, onto the results of the recent poll. There ended up being a tie between Alma 48:17 and 3 Nephi 18:7. For those of you who haven't read them or don't remember reading them, here they are:
Alma 48:17 ("Example") : Yea, verily, verily I say unto you, if all men had been, and were, and ever would be, like unto Moroni, behold, the very powers of hell would have been shaken forever; yea, the devil would have no power over the hearts of the children of men.
3 Nephi 18:7 ("Blessing of the Bread"): And this ye shall do in remembrance of my body, which I have shown unto you. And it shall be a testimony unto the Father that ye do always remember me. And if ye do always remember me ye shall have my Spirit to be with you.
Now, as promised, I will announce the new poll which I will update after I publish this post. This poll is a tribute to all the new kinds of technology that enable internet access these days. The question is: "What type of device do you use to view this blog?" Please vote on the poll once it has been updated.

The Great San Diego Vacation Finale w/ the Promised Pictures

This is the finale of "The Great San Diego Vacation."

Yesterday we drove home from San Diego, a task that took over seven hours. I have chosen to spare you of all the details of the journey and simply mention the good that came from it. We visited a book store called "Farrenheit 451" and bought a few books. We later bought some antiques at another store. A stop at Starbucks was made and I got a passion tea lemonade. Now onto what I have kept from you this entire vacation: the photos. We took way to many photos for you guys to enjoy viewing in just one post. So instead of uploading a mass photo album, I will only be uploading pictures of souvenirs that I picked up along the way. For those of you who do want all those photos, email me at aschr999@yahoo.com and I will send them to you. Here are my souvenir photos:
The "Domo" backpack and plush from the shopping center.
The smooth rock from the beach.
A blue seahorse from "Joe's Crab Shack."
A book about Rome from "Fareinheit 451."
An antique harmonica.

These photos were taken using my dad's cell phone. For those of you that like online flash games, check out FRIV.COM. Thank you for reading about this wonderful vacation! I hope all of my viewers were able to go somewhere as nice as San Diego this summer.

The Great San Diego Vacation Part 2

Last night we ate at the delicious "Joe's Crab Shack." I ate popcorn shrimp with fries and applesauce, and a "Cookies & Cream" shake for desert. Afterwards, we went for a walk until our senses could behold the beautiful wonder of the beach after dark. We walked home, layed down, and watched TV until we fell asleep. In the morning, We rushed down stairs before the breakfast buffet closed. I had a bowl of "Frosted Flakes," a sugar- coated orange danish, and a chocolate chip muffin. We got in the car and drove over the bridge that led to Coronado Island. Jimmy, Debby, my cousin and her daughter joined us to eat at  a bakery. After lunch, we headed over to that beach for a few hours and got some ice cream. You may think I haven't been eating well this trip, but all of my meals have been from a restaurant except for breakfast for the past two days. After we drove back, my cousin Meagan went home. We got in the hot tub and then cleaned up to eat dinner at Ruby's. I really love the weather here! I feel bad for those of you who are still in Phoenix. I have a surprise for you guys! An early picture that my mom downloaded to my computer today. If you guys like it I could make it my new picture at the top. Here it is:

The Great San Diego Vacation Part 1

At the start of "The Great San Diego Vacation," my family and I set out on the 6-hour drive to are vacationing destination. The rough journey was sure to hide the fun that San Diego has to offer. But the car ride wasn't all bad. On the way there, we visited a shopping center and ordered pizza, macoroni and cheese, salad, and garlic bread. The food was extermely delicious and I hope we can eat there again on the way home. Before we left, I bought a "Domo" backpack for the following school year. Shortly after we arrived, my cousin, Meagan, came to join us. We had took a visit to the beach and sunk our toes into the soft, silky sand while treating our noses to the wonderful smell of the Pacific Ocean. After my sister and I tread along in the water for about half an hour, we decided to head back to our hotel room, but not before I discovered a smooth, spherical rock in the sand. Pictures will be uploaded after the trip. Before anyone starts to worry, Francisco is being cared for by one of my good friends.

The Value of Vacations

Today my aunt and uncle left. :( But  the good news is, my uncle will be returning in August. Now, onto some more good news. As some of you may know, my family has been planning for a big vacation. Unfortunately, the "big" factor also means big money. So, to end our fantasizing of the value of this vacation, we created a slight change in plans. In other words, we have reduced the complexity of this trip to a simple, three-day, two-night, road trip to San Diego. I can't wait to finally fulfill my summer dream! California beach, here I come! By the way, due to low income, Xpressions! will be performing The Importance of Being Earnest for one more weekend.  If you are interested, visit their website using the link from my "Century-old Entertainment" post for more information. I would like your guys' opinions on one last thing: I want to start a yard cleaning business to save up for this iPod:

New Poll 7/22/2012

Thanks for voting on the poll, viewers! The poll is over and the votes are in. The winning response for the poll was "None of the above." Sinse I only received one response for an alternate answer, which was "-favorite scripture?" from my mom, I decided to go with that. Be sure to vote for what you think. If you don't know the scriptures, please look them up before voting.

Century-Old Entertainment

Yesterday was a very exciting day! At about 6:00 P.M., me and my parents left the house to get dinner at Greek Pita. We got our dinner to-go and rushed to see my sister portray Gwendolen in the closing night of The Importance of Being Ernest at Xpressions! Community Theater. Right before the play started, my uncle, James, and my aunt, Debra, came from Texas to visit. We all enjoyed the play and I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, since that was the closing night, none of you will be able to see it at Xpressions!, but I'm sure there are plenty of other community theaters performing this hilarious play. Sorry if some of you were unable to view the picture attached to my previous post. It was a picture of me sampling the pair of glasses that were purchased for me while at the eye doctor.

20/20? Not quite.

Many viewers may be wondering how my eyesight is. Ever since fourth grade, my vision was was becoming blurred, but only when you close one eye. I had been begging my parents to take me to an eye appointment, but they continuously waved me off and said I was fine. Finally, when my vision was at its worst, my dad scheduled an appointment on Wednesday for yesterday morning. My doctor concluded that I was near-sighted in my right eye and far-sighted in the left. It can cause damage to one eye to do what the other eye can. However, due to this strange balance, I only need a little help for my eyes. I will have to wear glasses when I go to school, play sports, read, write, or do anything involving a screen (including blogging). The glasses will be ready in six to nine days. Just so you know, I have already put glasses on my Mii, since only one of us should have to wait a week. :) Oh, and one more thing. Do you guys think I should change the picture at the top to the following:

Party Time!

Hey, Viewers!
Today was extremely eventful. First, I got up at 10:58, just in time to make it to my friend's ninth birthday. And boy, am I glad I got up ! We bounced a balloon played at Peter Piper Pizza, danced 'till we dropped, chewed on chocolate ice cream, and, most importantly, opened presents. Then I got picked up to visit my grandma's house. We swam in her pool for about an hour, ate snacks, and, as of right now, we are watching TRON Legacy. Sorry if any of my viewers have been trying to get a hold of me, but, clearly, I have been busy. You could probably try again tomorrow. By the way, be sure to check out the video bar. The videos came from the hilarious Youtube user, "wheezywaiter."

Francisco the Fish

At home, me and my sister have a fish named Francisco. But, since I both feed him and clean his bowl, and all she does is let him live in her room, I figure I have reason to call him my fish. So my fish, Francisco, is a blue Betta fish with at least twenty frilly fins. He is beautiful to look at and, if you listen closely, you can hear him chew as he eats. His meals consist of six, circular, orangish-brown pellets in the morning everyday. I am so happy to have another pet in my life. We also have a dog named Hercules. Just like Francisco, I both feed and clean up after him, yet he loves Carly more. So it's great to finally have a pet I can call my own. If you can't come to my house, but you want to meet Francisco, you can view a clone of him under the poll widget. He will follow the cursor as long as he can see it. To feed him, click on an area over the water to let out a pellet, similar in looks to the ones I previously described.

Errors Resolved

I've discovered the source of the "Talk to Barky" widget while loading another one. Both of these widgets came from http://www.widgetbox.com/. These widgets worked on my old blog, so why not this one? The answer could be one of two things: 1. My computer doesn't support Widgetbox (unlikely, since I could use the widget on the actual website). 2. My blog doesn't support Widgetbox (also unlikely; the editor allowed me to upload the widget, but the blog would not load the widget.) Whatever the reason, you can talk to Barky on either my old blog or on Widgetbox.

Peculiar Errors

Those of you who have viewed my old blog have probably anticipating the reappearance of the famous "Talk to Barky" widget. I, too, want it to appear here on My Musings, however, the blog does not respond when the widget is active. I apologize for this inconvenience and will fix it as soon as possible. Until then, check out the poll widget that appears to the left of my posts. You can also send me an e-mail suggesting what widgets I should add. If I get enough responses, I may even make this a poll question.

Musings in the Making

Hello, Bloggers!
I have decided to start a new blog. In case your interested, here's a link to my old one: http://www.activeadam.blogspot.com/

My favorite games are from the Kirby series and the Pokemon series.
I love to read.
My favorite book is Flawed Dogs by Berkely Breathed.
My favorite series is The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.
I love to listen to music.
My favorite band is Foster the People.

When I grow up, I want to be an author/poet.
I have written many poems, and one has been published in the book Acclaimed:

"Adventures"

Soaring, gliding, through the air,
Anytime, and anywhere,
Underground, or undersea,
Any place that you could be,
That is where adventures are.
By boat, by plane, on all terrain,
When it's sunny, or in the rain,
You might have to travel far,
So buy yourself a shiny car!
On land, or on sea,
With you, or just me,
Adventures could take you everywhere!
To anytime, or anywhere,
So come along, or meet me there!

But that's enough about me, I'd like to know more about my viewers! E-mail me at aschr999@yahoo.com (do NOT click "Follow by E-Mail"; this blog was created using my dad's G-Mail). Tell me about yourself, comment on my posts, or even give me suggestions for my blog.
